How Pressure Transmitter Works
The pressure transmitter measures the pressure of the process medium using a sensing element. The applied pressure causes a change in the sensing element (e.g. piezoresistive or capacitive), which is converted into an electrical signal (4–20 mA or digital signal) proportional to the measured pressure.
